MicroCoMPASS™ is specifically designed for operational services on various airborne and maritime platforms. It can be easily installed on various platforms and provides day and night stabilized observation, target detection, recognition and identification capabilities even in adverse weather conditions. MicroCoMPASS™ is a unique compact multi-purpose payload for manned and unmanned lightweight platforms. It is a modular system designed for interchangeability among the Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) and complete independence from the platform, except for electrical power. 3 axis gimbals technology provides high stabilization level; superb day & thermal continuous zoom channels add uniqueness to this system.
MicroCoMPASS™ includes a Color TV daylight camera, 3rd generation high resolution 3-5μm FLIR sensor, IR laser pointer, eye safe laser range finder and automatic tracking capabilities. In addition, its small size (8″ diameter) and light weight (only 9 kg) design enables quick and simple removal and replacement of LRUs.
